I think he did ok too....6 of 14 crossed. Isn't that a rather high percentage? My understanding is the usual crossover rate is much lower.

Marty, I had 3 Frankies cracked out of old green 10-digit PCI holders, all were PR67 Cameos, and all just came back as PR66s (no designations).

NGC uses Ultra, PCGS uses Deep.

I never did get a much better percentage than that order. I was normally around 1 for 3. I stopped trying.

Bet you would have had a better crossover rate if you had cracked them first. I truely believe there is slab bias but understand your wanting to keep what you have. I have had 3 out of 4 of the old thick NGC Morgan slabs upgrade and the 4th cross in grade cracking them in my last 2 submissions. Have another three in the works that I believe will upgrade.
