Wife played a trick

Afew weeks ago i got a cannonball safe from a Auction, I re fix them and place them on the shop floor for sale but sometimes i get lucky and find coins and notes inside.
Today i drill to scope the safe to open and when i was looking inside my heart started to race, it was full of old confederate state notes,thinking that i just won the jack pot i was starting to get very happy.
I open it and there inside was a nice bunch of confederate notes, about 100 bills in $10 to $20 but something look out of place, they kinda looked like copy notes, i removed them and started to look at them close in my office, it was my staff who were walking around with a smerk on there face, it was at that time i worked out that i was setup.
My wife and staff made a bunch of fake confederate notes (Same as those ones they sell at shops)and them one of my techs who was playing around on Mon and got the safe open placed it inside and locked it for me to start working on it today, when i placed my scope into safes we sometimes joke that one day we will hit that jackpot, well today i was thinking that,i was sweating so much from the excitment i had to go home for a shower.
So ,can i place my wife on Ebay for sale
