    That is the one I have, I took the lights down and use desk lamps. Great copystand...
    It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

  • I use a Testrite now and am in the process of getting rid of it. The upright tube is two piece and hollow and my base mount is worn. I'm buying this one...

    Testrite must have made Sears copystands. Mine came from Sears circa 1983 and it looks the same. It didn't come with the shades but has the same twisted aluminum light bar holders.

    Yes, Eric (K6AZ) has been using a Testrite copy stand. I think he said that he was getting a new one because of his new camera. The Nikon D70, which is also the camera I have, is to heavy for this stand. I guess the 2-piece upright post presents a problem. Eric had suggested I get something a little more sturdy for my heavy camera.
