What do you all think about this???

Billy Bean

I was actually looking for Billy Beane, the GM of Oakland A's, when I stumbled upon this. I couldn't believe the title.
What are your thoughts?

Why couldn't him and Billy Ripken traded bats for the 89 Fleer photos?
  • I'm gonna put gay pride on everything I sell to get the idiots willing to pay stupid money for WORTHLESS cards. Good marketing tool you have to admit.

    GG
  • this guy is either A) gay and proud. or B)straight and a shameless loser who will stoop to any low to sell a 10 cent card. i'll say B
  • I will admit that I sold some old photos of men in military uniforms at one time. When I researched how others were listing them I saw most were putting "gay interest" in the title. I avoided it the first time, but on the relist I added that and al 8 of them sold for an average of 14.00 each. The highest was 42.00.

IMHO if it sells the item more power to them.

  • Guess I should start listing my cards:

This player is a proud heterosexual. He experimented a little in college but since then has been straight as an arrow. If you're straight you should buy this card. Otherwise, you never know.

After finding that card, I became more "curious" and found this. I guess it's true. Just thought that auction title was funny.

IMO anyone who uses that tactic to just make a few more bucks on an auction is pretty low...
