For those of you that are interested, here are the results of the cards I sent in (with other cards). All were cracked out of the old holders.

Pretty consistant among all the companies on that one.. Cool. SCG & FGS yet.. wow.

I'll list my recent crossovers as well. Also all cracked out and sent raw. All were pre-war.

PSA 5 to PSA 5.
PSA 3 to PSA 4.
SGC 1.5 to PSA 3MK (light fountain pen on reverse almost faded to extinction)
BGS 2 to PSA 4
BGS 3 to PSA 5

All seemed too high for the current holder.

Do you mind sharing what the BGS cards were- that's quite the jump!

The BGS cards were both 34 Goudeys bought off of ebay. All of these "seemed" better than the grade given, and on all but one that indeed was the case. The SGC was probably "even steven" since SGC does not use qualifiers. either way, It goes to show, that if your comparing multiple cards with the same grade and a few seem very close or better than some you have from the next higher grade, it just may be worth your while to crack and resend. Now granted these are lower grade, I'm sure it is much harder to get a 6 to a 7, or a 7 to a 8.

All crossover results are going to be a bit tainted for a simple reason.

When someone examines a card in another holder to crossover,
they don't break it out and submit it unless they think the results are going to be favorable.

I crack out the cream from the other companies to submit, and don't bother with submitting the rest ...

Interesting though, how the three GAI 7.5's only crossed to PSA 7's (and one GAI 7 to a PSA 6). Another example of how meaningless half grades are...
