Left. I rather have OC from L/R then T/B. Also, the one on the right is shorter t/b from the scan and hurts my eyes. Just looks like there's extra room in the holder.
<< <i>Assuming the card on the left doesn't have a crease I would choose it. >>
Yeah, I think that is the thing. We are so caught up in the wrong things. I think the one on the left must have a crease or back paper damage (since it is a psa 1) But, I would rather have IT than the terrible looking psa 4, just to get a higher graded one. I guess it comes down to - do you want a nice looking card or a high grade.
Can someone enlighten me as to why this is such a tough card? I can only assume it's a short print, but there must be more to the story than that.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."
Without question, the left one. Better centering first of all, and no double print on the image. I wouldn't care how sharp the corners are on the other one. Centering and color are usually my first two looks...then I look at corners. But that's just me... I'll have to read the rest of the replies on this thread as I'm curious what others wrote.
must be bad damage on that left one. It looks like a much better card than the one on the right. I swear the more I looked at the one on the right, the more my eyes literally started to water. I need Stone's glasses, and then I'd choose the one on the right. Maybe it would feel like Satchell was sitting in the room with me. lol

i dont mind the top to bottom centering all that much, its the Focus that kills it

Centering is way off T/B and so is the registry on the right.
But guessing from the flips being blanked the right is a higher grade.
Possible back damage or surface wrinkle on the left????

don't know. They are both on Ebay now.

<< <i>The listing said the PSA 1 has major back damage. >>
The PSA 1 (on the left) auction is closed early. I assume he got a local buyer or someone who wanted to deal off of ebay. Wonder what it sold for?
