What's everyone's luck in crossovers w/o cracking original slab?

I have a Clemens RC that has been graded GAI 9.5 and a Tom Brady RC that's been graded BGS 9.0. The Brady just missed being a 9.5 by .5 (10, 9, 9, 9.5 subgrades). I feel both have a chance at PSA 10, but I'm hesitant to crack them out of the original slabs. I know cracking them out will make grading easier (and rule the bias of politics), but what has everyone's ACTUAL luck been when sending them in the original slab?

Not in my experience, but M/G (min. grade not met) is pretty common when crossing GAI to PSA, and I don't think it has much to do with the card itself. I've had better than average results with SGC and even BVG (but NOT BGS).
Brian, why would you want to cross BGS 9.5 to PSA 10? Everybody knows BGS 9.5 is way better than PSA 10! (insert eye-rolling emoticon here)
1993 Biggio Refractor BGS 8.5 (9.5, 9.5, 10, 7.5) = PSA 9
1998 Nolan Ryan Significant Signature BGS 8.5 (raw card review) = PSA 9

I don't have a BGS 9.5. I have a 9.0 that barely missed 9.5 by only .5. Rather than re-submitting again to BGS in hopes of getting the extra .5 subgrade, I'd rather have PSA give it a go.
