OT-Need advice from some of you website techies

I am using ChannelAdvisor (formerly GoTo) for as my auction management service and have an independent website hosting service. As we have grown exponentially in the past couple of years, we are having a problem trying to keep our inventory straight. When we sell an item on eBay that is also on our website, we have to remove it from the website manually, and conversely, when we sell an item on the website, we have to take it out of ChannelAdvisor manually. This is rapidly becoming a real pain in the neck (and lower). We have found systems that will handle both functions, but they want $1,000+ a month for their services. Other services will integrate the eBay auctions and website, but not eBay store items. Does anybody know of a service provider that can handle all functions at a reasonable rate? If someone has some info they care to share, and you feel it is too much information to post, if you PM me your phone number I will be happy to call and discuss it.

    Hi Danglen,

A 1000 a month is not much when you consider the amount of time it takes the vendor to develop the product you are looking for, the support they will provide you when it gets hosed up, and the increased efficiency that the new LOB application will provide. Its a no brainer, stroke a check for $1,000.

I guess I'm spoiled. I'm getting two thirds of what I need for $100 a month image

Sounds like you are happy with the current applications performance. To move to the next level and have all of the functionality the vendor is charging 1000 bucks. Is the company providing the solution you have and the solution you want the same company? A good example of price differences is the Adobe line of graphics tools known as Photoshop. There is Photoshop Elements, which does 90% of what Photoshop does. Photoshop Elements cost a little more than 100 bucks. Photoshop is more than 500 dollars. It all depends on what your looking for.
