Have another ebay question for ya.
Had a buyer email yesterday stating that he did bid that much on my item that he won (55 Topps AA PSA common). The card sold for $14.50. He claimed he only entered $6.01. He was outbid on my item and then re-bid on it. I didn't let him off the hook. He has 9 score feedback, so maybe he doesn't know what he is doing. He claimed that he must have entered $601.00. You have to confirm your bid, so I wasn't very sympathetic. I am holding him to the sale, he says he'll mail a money order. What would do you folks think? Should I have let him off the hook? ( I haven't at this time)

Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!

I would also wait to see if payment comes in. Not going to lose any sleep over $11.
If he doesn't pay; just file the NPB alert and just move on. I do find it hard to believe
that he missed it if he did type in 601.00. It is possible if he just typed in 601 without
the decimal point. In that case then it is 601.00 and he just flat out missed it on the confirmation
page. Either that or he's just a big flat liar.
That will be ignored by ebay and lead to the $601 bid as well. If you don't catch it on the confirmation page, it's either time to retract a bid or to BOHICA.
