    XF45... can't be sure from this scan if it's been cleaned.
    When in doubt, don't.

    I was thinking about sending this coin in for the quarterly freebe couldn't decided if it would be EF or if it would go AU . What are you seeing that makes you say cleaned.

    The luster looks washed out and lacking.(from what i can tell from the photo)

    "Washed out and lacking" is normal for the date, even among true mint state coins.
    When in doubt, don't.

    Thanks it does seem to be lacking in luster , but I can't find any hairlines or other evidence of cleaning, so I guess I will send it to pcgs if they bag it then to annacs there is quite a difference in price from EF to AU

    Seems that most think the coin has been cleaned . Looking for prime numbers for the quarterly freebe. maybe I will go with the 1889cc in G4 instead.
