Pandora's box of old coins...

Hi Everyone! I'm visiting friends in Canada (working vacation), and one of them gave me a box full of old coins to look through. My friend's mother recently passed away. and my friend wants to sell the coins. They're mostly Canadian, with some other countries too There are some beautiful Newfoundland five cent pieces, of which I don't have any
in my existing collection. All the coins are from good to VF condition.

I have no idea how much to offer my friend for the coins, so I'm going to go out and buy a Charlton Guide to Canadian Coins to help, since mine is back at home.

I miss you people! I'll be looking forward to being online a bit more when I return from my working vacation
