Are these mint errors?

The top one is about 40% thinner then a regular dime. And the bottom one does not have a reeded edge and looks like this nickle and meets in two angels.

    My opinion, without seeing them in person, would be postmint damage, not die trial.

    The top one appears to be filed on both sides and the bottom one on the reverse only.

    Both appear to have portions of one or both faces ground off outside the mint. They do not look like genuine errors.

    They were in someone's pocket and got in the washing machine. I see this a lot, since I leave a lot of change in my pockets.image I've seen uncirculated cents go in and come out with the zinc showing! image
