    This Kent LINK?

  • It sounds lovely, Mr. Russ. With fewer tables, it's easier to see everything, so there's much less chance of missing something you might like image

Would love to but I'm going to AZ to look for Wisc. quarters in phone booths - better chance of finding something good....image

  • Kent is very nice but I wouldn't consider any time of year but the Summer for a visit.

Keep the hype up Russ. Maybe next year this show will be as large as Long Beach.

I went to the monster show this last weekend in Kirkland, purchased one monster circ morgan. I don't think I can handle two monster shows in a row, I need to rest.

Could not justify the time or expense of a trip to Kent. I would arrive only to find that all of the cameos have already been gathered by Russ; or that all of the dealers have set aside their thousands of Proof and SMS sets in an off limits backroom where only admittance is given only to Russ and Marty.

With the above reality, why even bother. I just hope that neither Russ or Marty decide to raid Northern California.

Is there anyway that I can file papers somewhere with a numismatic organization to acquire exclusive territorial rights to all pre 1971 proof and sms sets in California? That way I can either bar other cherrypickin poachers or require that they enter into a license/royalty agreement with me before they enter the state.

  • What are the Jefferson and Lincoln prospects? Kent is a drive from PDX.

I know it is off topic, but this thread reminds me of a limerick..............

"There once was a young man from Kent,
whose -------------- in the middle was bent,
he always had trouble because he was double,
    for whenever he------------- he went".

Can anyone convert the limerick into a haiku?

2100 miles one way for me! I think I'll pass this time.

Let me know when it gets to 10 tables!
