Dealer is allowing me to sift through 5 gal buckets of Darkside silver...WOOHOO!

I live in a small town. One coin shop. I always get some real good slabbed material every few months but in the past few months I've been looking for some Darkside stuff and have come up dry. Low and behold, all I had to do was ask. I asked my local guy, that "if" he ever gets any foreign silver to let me know. He chuckles and says, "Give me a two day advance, I have some five gallon buckets full in storage. And expect to spend a few hours going through each one." I was like, "Serious?" He says Darkside material is his favorite but nobody every asks for it. So I've prepared him and myselfe....in a couple of weekends I may be in heaven.imageimage

    I know, I can't wait. Usually every few months he'll give me a box of U.S. to look through. I'll have to pack a lunch this time though.

    No, I'd tell you where I was, but then I'd probably show up to a pint size bucket leftimage

    I will let you all know how it goes. I'm just bummed I can't go in this weekend. I made plans to go somewhere with the wife before hand and if I cancel for another coin related event I'm in trouble.

    Look at the brightside the coins aren't going anywhere and now you have the opportunity to look through a couple of world coin books to get an idea of the prices of all that foreign silver... image
