They came from Burger Chef. Each team was issued in a tray with perforated discs. They are pretty easy to find still in the complete trays.

Mr. Carter is correct - hopefully there's a player listed on the other side. Not that ol' Fangburger is all that bad. There were a number of creepy cartoons on those (including the Great Burgerini), I think a total of about 8 or 9 rotated throughout the set.
  • I JUST picked up my latest submission from the post office with a Johnny Bench Burger Chef disk in it.
I haven't seen a ton on eBay, but they are there from time to time.
Standard catalog has these listed as well.
Ted Williams, Willie Mays, Tom Seaver, Mike Schmidt, George Brett, Bob Gibson, Lou Brock player collector
  • do you think it would be better to grade the disc still in the square or remove the disc all together and what would be the best way remove the disc.
  • Burger Chef was also the restaurant that was reportedly selling kangaroo meat.

I thought their burgers were quite tasty

I don't think PSA has a holder big enough for the entire set. You would have to break the discs out - be vareful! Which team is it?
  • i just have one gaylord perry and the disc is in a square which is about 3 and a half inches by 3 and a half inches or a little more.also if anyone has any oddball gaylord perry items or o.p.c. lmk
