why have proof large and half lagged behind in this current bull market?

proof half and large cents are extremely beautiful and collectible coins and are available with good surfaces eye appeal and decent mirrors if you care to look yet their prices have lagged behind many series of coins and basically have not moved much is not all in price since the beginning of the bull market

yet early american business strike copper has really increased on price and also demand with the EAC

it is a real quandry

david do you have any thoughts on the above

    I believe two things have happened...

    1. They are so rare that they don't appear for sale very often. Consequently, very few people collect them and opportunities to buy are few and far between.

    2. They wer eexpensive to begin with, so the law of big numbers has some effect.

    I agree with you and love these coins.
