What can anyone tell me about this 1807/6 Cent

Got this at a local coinshow as an 1807 a few months back - Looked real bad back then (maybe a metal detectr find?)

After about 3 months of TLC

It's the large 7/6 variety.

Agred, large 7/6 S-273 I believ it's rated as an R-2 now. It has nice detail but some serious porousity/corrosion problems. Still it is a desirable piece and the overdate is clear and strong.

Thanks, Just beginning to learn about these. Switching from mostly Morgans to building Type Sets has sure opened my eyes to how little I know about the rest of the coin world
