Decent grouping of bust halves on TT tonight.

Well I cannot vouch for them without seeing them in hand but it is unusual to see around 20 AU's of diff dates on TT. Probably a legit consignment for a change.
The 1794 half in a first gen VG08 holder was already mentioned here a few nights ago. It's now up to $4180. I would guess that it
will take around $4300-4500 to win it. I do not think it has enough detail to upgrade to VG10. But the first gen holder may garner a few extra bucks.

Hmmm, I've never bid on TT. Got a link?

That 1794 half is now up to $4400 with the juice. May take one more bid to win it.

Super fast shipping!
I have no complaints.
<Returns are a killer so make sure you'll keep the coin no matter what.>
I disagree. (where is Dork Karl?) I'm willing to pay the return fees, though hefty, if I have mistakenly read the photo. Occasionaly there are some really undesirable coins on TT and I've been happy to pay the return fees when I've ended up with them.
<< <i>Am I correct the Bust halves end at 10:00 est? Thanks. >>
Yes, give or take a minute ot two.
Carl, I've paid heavy return fees also on Teletrade coins. I think my biggest ever was $300 or so. Taking the 3% hit was far easier than swallowing a 97% dog. Point is, bid as if the coin is sight unseen. That way, if you get a dog at a doggie price, you can get out. Over time, that 3% fee, compounded, is a killer. If over the long haul, someone can tell me that they do better buying primarily from TT rather than sight-seen at shows, auctions, or through local delaers, I'd like to hear the story.

I thought what the heck and threw one more bid in there. It said it wanted two increments above the high bid.
Hope they enjoy the coin.
A TT "max" bid by definition has to be more than 1 increment higher, otherwise just bid it normally. There are diff boxes for each bid.

I don't sweat it and figure my mistake just saved me almost 600.00.
