42 PSA8's and 6 higher and this is low pop?

You are bidding on 1965 Topps #259 Jim Northrup RC PSA 8 (Low POP: 42 8's, 6 9's), see scan for details. The "8" grade must be due to centering & 2 fuzzy corners as none of the other defects associated with the 8 grading are apparent.

The term low pop (for this set at least) was a tad over stated IMO
Good for you.

I think this is becoming a generic term from overuse on ebay -
tantamount to calling a dog-eared card "mint"
simply because it still exists on the planet....

I believe you can tell alot about a company by the company it keeps. Who is AGS keeping company with? Why our good friends at Shop At Home where you often see AGS cards offered up in the infamous blue chip "deals". Wait. There's more. AGS also supplies graded product to Fairfield. Fairfield is the company that bought out Collector's Edge inventory and releases them in Game Used or Graded Card mystery packs at Target, ShopKo, and other large retailers. There is good reason that AGS, and many of these other second rate grading companies, operate at the fringe of the hobby... think about it.
    Good for you.
