Clad coin experts, which are the rarest?

DD Posts: 1,997 ✭✭✭
Which clad coins are the rarest? What years and mint marks, about the only ones I know of is the 69P dime and 83P quarter. Also, are any of them worth a thing in circulated condition?

Thanks in advance.

The rarest is the unique 1964 clad quarter or the rare '64 clad dimes.

There are lots of coins in circulation which are rare but very few which are recognized
as such and trade in the marketplace at premiums. The rarer coins tend to be varieties
or high grade issues. The '82 and '83 coins do trade at premiums in AU but are actually
much more common in this level of preservation than other coins of that era. They trade
at a premium because they are scarcer in uncirculated than the others which exist in ample
numbers in unc at this time.

There are many other rare and scarce coins also. Try the search feature for more compre-
    hensive listings.
