Do you think PCGS would encapsulate this coin? Input needed from Mendelson...

1000oz Gold Philharmonic. Images taken this week....

Total population 15 Denomination 100,000.00 Euros Legal tender

Purchased by a client of mine(The gentleman wearing the baseball cap) and he asked me to along for

the ride and take pictures.

It weighs 62 and 1/2 pounds and is about the size of a large thick crust pizza (with extras)

Someone came up with the nickname "Big Phil".

I'd like to see Flavor Flav hang "Big Phil" around his neck.... Either that or "Money LA" Mendelson could

do a "Ultimate Los Angeles Bling" special on it.......

I don't know but I'd sure hope if you returned the holder you'd get a nice reimbursement.

That would have to be a BIG slab! I don't think PCGS slabs anything bigger than their standard slab, though.
  • Wow! Now that's a coin! Not sure how you would get that encapsulated, probably have to be a custom job. PCGS might grade it though, it would make for great publicity.
