toning question on LIB 5

I haven't seen very many Toned Libertys,and was curious just how it may have toned.
It's the only one I have ,and like it for the toning.

    That looks like the coin on goldrarities.com which sold in a Superior sale. Superior seems to have similar toned nickels. Not sure how they got that way.
