I must say, I didn't know PRO graded as low as 6. I thought their scale was 8 to 10. Huh!

Of course there is something wrong with the card. Likely it's been rejected by PSA, SGC, GAI, even BVG already. No one would CHOOSE to get their legitimate '52 Topps Mantle graded by PRO instead of the others. No one would CHOOSE to throw away 90% of the value. Even PSA 1 would generate more respect and interest in the market than PRO 6. At least you know the PSA 1 is not trimmed or otherwise doctored ... or even worse, a dirtied-up reproduction.

The bottom left edge has obviously been tampered with. Frankly in my view, if you can't trust a grading company with regards to trimming, I won't trust them in regards to authentication either. I will never buy a Pro graded card.
  • Im not seeing anything wrong with the bottom right edge, could you be more specific? front or back...im interested.

Did anyone notice that he pulled the "ask seller question" button from the sale?
I guess he wasn't ready for the mess of emails asking questions about the card or why he didn't submit to PSA?

This is one of those - Run don't walk from this sale type thing!

Mike, is that your '52 Mick? If so, would you mind emailing your street address and the hours you are usually not home.
  • Is it just me or does the back of the pro graded card. The "s" in Domaiggio's line up with the "h" in right. Looks like it does. That and the colors are off mantle looks like he's gotten sunburnt
