2001 Topps Baseball Heritage Question for joestalin

I always loved the 1952 Topps set look so I was thinking about springing for a 2001 Heritage base set. How much would this set me back?

That is the best set IMO...the set books for 400$ including the SP's. Expect to pay between 200-300 for a Master set on ebay. Be patient and keep an eye out and you can definitely pick one up for around 200$ on a good day.

edit: I just realized you said base set - do you mean w/o SP's? That can be picked up for about 100 bucks; I want to say I have seen it for less also.
