January submission results/crossover results.

Kudos to PSA for their fast processing times this submission. Signature confirmation that my cards were delivered on the Feb 3rd. logged in the 4th, results the 11th. Thank you PSA for your timely grading this time.

I have been looking into other company graded cards and am intrigued by the whole crossover issue. So working with lower grade pre-war here were my crossover/resubmission results...........

Cracked a PSA 3, resubmitted and got a PSA 4. (This card looked like a 5+ in the holder. When removed I discovered an internal crease that neither broke the paper on the front OR the back. It could only be seen when the card was slightly bent, otherwise completely undetectable. very bizarre.)

Cracked a PSA 5, resubmitted and got a PSA 5. (I seriously cannot see why this card is not a 6 or even a 7, maybe a third try will be the final decision in my stubborn mind.)

Cracked a SGC 20 (1.5) and got a PSA 3MK. (Vintage fountain pen on reverse that was almost faded to nothing)

Cracked a BVG 3 and got a PSA 5.

Cracked a BVG 2 and got a PSA 4.

Needless to say I am thrilled. However, keep in mind all these cards seemed high quality for the grade regardless of holder. Achieving these results with consistancy will be very tough, but it is indeed possible people.

Nice results. You're right, it can be done if you look at the paper and not the plastic. I think I have the record for beating the odds by crossing a 1977 Nolan Ryan GEM 10 to a PSA 9. It was one of the first cards GEM had graded, and it measured up. Lucky me.
