designs,starting by 2009????????????????

There was such a proposal some months back but with the cost of minting these
already over 1c and still soaring it may not happen or be limited only to mint and
proof sets. Perhaps they can make special reverses for the fin.

It's been bandied about, pretty much as cladking said. Nothing definitive yet, to my knowledge.

Yeah, I heard that too about the different designs for 2009. ~~ Plus, I was watching a comedy show the other night (The Coin Vault), and the two clowns on tv were selling rolls of state quarters (five of them), four rolls of Jefferson Peace and Keelboat nickels (P's and D's), one roll of Buffalo nickles (various dates in good condition)..........and then one roll of BU common date wheat cents. All for about $200 (oh yeah five flex payments of $40.00...)

At any rate they kept hyping for sure that the Lincoln Cent reverse design was gonna change (and it may just as well do so), but to include that hype with the junk they were selling for the price they offered.... Some poor newbie (or gramma/grandpa buying the "good deal coins for their grandkids" is gonna get ripped....
