I recieved the 1st ever desert shield that is worth of PSA

Any opinions on what it would grade. It looks like a solid 9 wade Boggs ( haha image ) to me. 4 years of buying raw on ebay . I went thru 20 examples and didnt like any and BAM 2.99 auction no less.

    Looks like a beauty!! No chipping for sharp corners...how is the gloss/surface - if that is good...looks like a 9 to me.

    Surface looks great no creases no bubbles. Thanks for the feedback! I am stoked. It is the cheapest I have ever bought I have paid 6 x that. It will be off in the next batch in a few weeks. Another potentail 2005 goal potentialy done!

    A side note to anyone intrested. My basic set took a nice jump. I decided to add most of te new cards I could'nt resist.

    Wasn't there a rash of counterfeit Dessert Shield card a few years ago with homemade gold-foil stamps?

    cool looking card too! My Dad's favorite player has always been Boggs, he was so happy to see him get the nomination to the hall!

    HOF when was he elected. I must have missed that I need to get out more often. image I like your Dad already sound like a smart MAN!

    Koby there was a rash of fakes. I havent seen any fake the Boggs. .....yet. Beckett has a pic of the fake stamp on their website.

    Yeah. Three known types of fakes have surfaced over the years. Here's a good article over at Beckett that explains how you can spot them.
