1962 Topps baseball questions

I am more or less a football collector and haven't collected baseball in years so.....
I'm looking for informatin on the "green tint" variations from the 1962 Topps baseball set.
1. I read in a newer catalog that the green tint cards can be found on almost all the 2nd series cards, what number range is the 2nd series?
2. None of the price guides I have, old or new, have complete listings of the green tint variations, does one exist?
3. Does anyone even collect both variations anymore?
4. Which variation, if either, is considered harder to find?

denwd1 - I find that completely interesting. Are the green tint variations an "all over" (the photograph) phenomenon? or is the green tint in certain selected areas of the cards, such as football card showing in my signature? It's interesting because the '63 football variations appear to be just the opposite. The green background varieties are much more common than the natural-colored version, which leads me to believe that Topps, for some odd reason, didn't like the "natural fall colors" on the football cards, and possibly "corrected" them (took the red out) after an initial print run.
Those zany people at Topps, you gotta lov'em!
