What feels like a thousand messages ago I received answers to waht is PM and ttt. I must be getting really old. What do I do with the PM thing on the site for buying and selling coins? How does it work? What does lock on symbol button mean? How do I use this to communicate with the seller? I moved the mouse to everything and pressed everything and nothing happens. Also, I still don't get the ttt. What does "to the top" really mean? Who goes to the top? Why isthis used? Am I that old that I just don't understand or is there a coin dictionary out there somewhere? By the way how much does it cost to have a coin sent to PCGS? Are there instructions somewhere as to how to send coins in for grading?

'ttt' does, indeed, mean 'to the top'. Board members use it when a thread has had no replies, and somebody (e.g. the originator of the thread or somebody very interested in it) wants it to be seen by other board members. I've noticed that 'ttt' often serves to bring a thread to the attention of people who tend to view the board at differing times of the day -- me, for example (I tend to look at the board in the mornings, or sometimes on break at work ).
As regards PM, I'll let others explain that, but the key is to turn the PM on in your profile.
As regards PCGS, you need to be a member there to submit, yes that is true. Other top slab companies do not require that. ANACS for instance.
Hi Carl, I just sent you a PM.

How do I find it? This is what's driving me nuts. Not just what it means, but what do I do to get it or send it? Where is the PM? I'm lost or just to old.
