    yeah, PD is what I think might happen. Card has the notorious "smudge" that most Mollies have but that blue nose is pissing me off image

    You still have 2/3 to go. Maybe you'll pull another Molitor and you can throw away that one with the smudge.

    I got an 8 on mine recently and the print smudge is just as bad if not worse. NQ and I didn't ask for NQ. I think you have a shot at a 9 as your corners are better.

    What a box man, the team cards are incredible. SHARP Guidry, Ryan RB, Brock, Jackson RB, Rose, Seaver, checklists, commons. A VERY NICE box as far as centering goes. Still have some left too image

    That Murray looks fantastic. I don't think the centering is bad on it at all.

    Wow -

    I can't believe how long you spent opening that box! I would have been done with it in half an hour. Definitely money well spent I'm guessing, as far as you're concerned! That murray looks great, OC or not - I'm thinking it could either get a 9OC, or a 7 (with an outside outside outside shot at an 8).

    It's got two minor red splotches on the gold between the border and the pictures. Minor splotching. image

    It wasn't cheap, but nowhere near the price of a straight nine.

    Thanks. Every cent I could scrounge up as a seven year old and all parental begging went in pursuit of that card. Finally got him in '79. My third grade teacher was not impressed when I brought it to school and couldn't pay attention in class.

    I have show this card before - no print mark - have not seen many like it - but the centering keeps this from 9 IMO.

    mudflap, I can send you all the nasty gum you want but I have no Heritage chromes, at least not yet image

    softparade is a name I used for a fantasy baseball team alot of years ago that won me some good loot. I chose it one night (many moons ago) listening to the Doors album "Softparade" a great album by the way image

    Wow, awesome box soft. I'm jealous. I think you got very nice copies of both cards. Much better than my box which yeilded a creased Molitor and a PD'ed Molitor that didn't meet PSA's size requirements. Any chance you want to get rid of the Murray?
