Item sold cheap, seller is avoiding me.

last week I won a box of cards for 15.50, seller had a BIN for 36.95 incl/ shipping. I emailed him a few times as he had his listing wrong and etc. Each time he emailed me back thanking me for helping him. Now that I won the box he will not respond to my emails for the shipping amt. I have emailed him 4 times and it has been at least 5 days now. I know that if I win something and do not pay I could get a NPB. What about when a seller does not get his price and refuses to complete the sale? what recourse does the buyer have?

Steve

I would try once more to contact him, but report him as a "non-selling seller" within 10 days of the auction close.

    From Ebay -

    Non-Selling Seller

It is not permitted for a seller on eBay to refuse payment or delivery of an item at the end of a successful sale.

If you have sent payment and have been unable to receive your item or a refund, please refer to the eBay Buyer Protection Program for information on how to proceed. On this page you will also find instructions that will allow you to report the seller.

If a seller has refused to complete a sale and payment has not been sent or payment has been refunded, report the seller
. Make sure to include a copy of the email documenting the seller's refusal to complete the sale with the full message text and complete email headers when making your report.

After receiving your report, eBay will consider the circumstances of the alleged offense. Disciplinary action may result in a formal warning, a temporary suspension, or an indefinite suspension. If a complaint cannot be proven with certainty, it is possible that no action will be taken. Due to privacy issues, eBay will be unable to discuss the result of the investigation.

    lol

I am not going to neg him, and he can keep his cards. A reserve would have been a better choice though for him.

Thanks ctsox for that info, I had not known that. Usually seller's can't wait to send me an invoice. hehe
