Got Grades: VAMs and one "almost" VAM that is still a score

Got grades today:

1 21876213 1903-S S$1 USA AU50
Bought this on ebay for $460. I thought it was a micro S and believed I had a great cherry. It wasn't a micro S, but it was a problem free AU-50. Big score now that it is in a PCGS holder, greysheet $1325. image

2 21876214 1903-S S$1 Micro S USA F15
Crack-out cross from ANACS 15. Good.

3 21876215 1890-CC S$1 Tail Bar USA AU50
Crack-out cross from ANACS 50. This was a <!--StartFragment -->$42 as a cherrypick in Oct 99. A <!--StartFragment -->1890-CC VAM 4 "Tailbar" ANACS 50 sold for $1,150 on ebay in July. Woo Hoo image

4 21876216 1878 7/8TF S$1 Weak USA MS63
Nice coin. Reasonable grade. VAM-33 which is a very common 7/8 variety

5 21876217 1888-O S$1 Doubled Die Obverse USA Altered Surfaces
Was told this would probably body bag but had to try... Its a nice looking AU that's been played with a little. image

6 21876218 1901 S$1 Doubled Die Reverse USA XF45
Nice grade for a tough coin (seen any for sale lately?). image Thought it had a shot at 50. Might send this back as my quarterly freebie and see if I can get it over the hump.

Can't wait for the package to arrive!
