Help Me please

Hey can anyone help me. I have some coins from diffrent countries dating back to the early 1800s to mid 1900s how can I see what they are worth and should I clean them. What should I clean them with. I can take some pics but I have 24 diffrent coins all from different countries.

    Don't clean them!

While cleaning coins will make them look better, they will be worth far less after you have cleaned them.

Indeed, if you can post some pictures, some of us can help!

As farthing said, don't clean!!! I just sold a cleaned coin on ebay and it got far less than 50% of the value it probably would have received had it been left alone (see below).

If you post some pics, we can probably identify them and maybe give you some idea of their value.

Post pics of the coins when you can, then wait around a bit and someone (probably several "someones") will stop by with the information they have on your coins.

  • Welcome Xcera! The best bet is to post pics. There can be many varieties of some of these coins, so unless we can see them, we can't always identify them ... much less hazard a guess as to their grades -- which helps determine value.
