Submission grading times

Is it worth the extra $16 to send in some coins on Regular service vice Economy in hopes that they will break the turnaround time and send some free vouchers?

I can wait for the 2 months for the coins but I thought that perhaps it might work out cheaper on Regular especially if they aren't meeting turnaround times.

Whatcha think?

I just did that with a submission that's on the way to them. image BTW, Regular ($30) is $12 more than Economy ($18).

Go cheap......expect 2-3 months on any submission
  • My next 10 will be at the higher level. Maybe I can get most of the set done for free!!image

I should have some idea shortly ... last regular submission I sent in is approaching the 15 day mark ... noted on the web site as received 01/21. Odd thing is that on the web site it as listed as Economy on turn around time, but when I asked customer service they said their computers showed that it was entered in the system at the regular submission level.

The economy turnaround time estimate appears for everyone, regardless of the submission level one is checking.

16 buck total for ANACS five day express.
  • This may give you an idea.

I just got grades on this regular, $30, 15 business day submission.

    Date Received: 12/27/2004
    Date Shipped: No Date Specified

I count 32 business days total. Take away 6 days for holidays and black out, that is still 26 business days.

Seven coins, seven comps. That was the max they would give. Funny thing was, I talked to customer service a week earlier and she said it was done and would be shipped that night and sent out with the comps. Well, They sat on it another week after that. I guess because there was no rush anymore beacause I was already being comp'd the max!

I have had my Regular Sub Free Vouchers in since 01/26, but I don't think they worry about getting the Free ones done in 15 days.
