barrington square gone??

I recently emailed them to ask about a lot of 1938 Horrors of War. The reply said they don't sell cards anymore. Other than Marchant cards, I haven't dealt with any other mail order non sports cards directly. However, I have dealt with Julio's non sports before, but through a shop. Any other mail order companies that people have dealt with?
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!

  • are you looking to buy vintage (pre-1970) or newer stuff
  • I collect both vintage and newer stuff. The newer releases from inkworks, comic images, rittenhouse and even old topps can usually be obtained via a special order out of my local card shop.

  • i used to go to their store in the early 90's,always had a lot of people in there when i went in. i guess they decided they could do mail order and not pay the high rent.i think they sell on ebay under a different name now,but not sure.my advise is to just watch for what you want on ebay. heres a link from the vintge baaseball card forum that lists auctions allmost all of these have non sports cards from the 30's to new stuff.

I used to buy from Barrington Square as a teenager. Used to get the majority of my stuff from them. Sad to see them go. The last catalog I got from them was about a year or so ago. I still have it.
