Are lower-grade PCGS-recognized variety coins worth slabbing?

I'm looking to move a bunch of variety coins in the coming months, and I'm wondering if it would be worthwhile to submit the PCGS recognized varieties for grading. None of these are what most would consider "registry quality" coins, but I could see where they could be good placeholders for a Registry set. For example, there have been only eleven 1897 "1 in neck" Indian cents graded so far, so would a PCGS VG08 coin be appealing given the dearth of certified examples in any grade?
Here's a brief list off the top of my head of some other coins I'm considering, with the probable grade range:
1894 Indian cent repunched date (G-VG)
1897 Indian Cent "1 in neck" (VG)
1936 Lincoln Cent DDO#1 and #2 (VF-EF)
1941 Lincoln CEnt DDO (EF-AU)
1942 Jefferson Nickel D/horiz D (VF)
1945 Jeff Nickel DDR (low MS no steps)
1964-D Kenedy Half DDO and TDO (high AU)
Thanks,
Sean Reynolds
