Toner Folks care to chime in?

I'm Looking through todays half dimes on ebay and I see this one. Did someone spill their drink on this?
(Just in case you are the seller and are on these boards I'm just curious.)

Obverse looks (from the pic) normal . . natural toning. Reverse is strange. Could be contaminant . . holder . . . ???

Can't see that well from the pic . . .

I can't tell what might be on the reverse, but it looks like a coin that was cleaned aggressively, and then started to retone around the rims.....

Hey Chris, I am not a toning expert at all, but that reverse looks bad. At the best-cleaned and retoned badly. Get a better coin Chris.
Some coins are just plain "Interesting"

It looks like it had a fight with a dremmel and lost! I would steer clear!

Almost looks like it was glued to a display, and the glue prevented toning on much of the reverse?
