Graded the 1952 MS64.
Just guesses, I don't really know.

The 54 doesn't look FBL to me, the area right above the "F" looks flat, is that just in the picture?

The reverse on the 52 almost looks legit, but again, hard to tell from a photo.
The 54 is a possible album piece, but still makes me nervous not being able to hold it in my hand.

It's FBL, both coins are. If they graded, I was hoping for 65FBL on both. As usual for Frankies and me, PCGS went a point lower.

The 52-d in a white/ light tone 65 FBL is about 50- what would you expect that coin to bring for a cool toning bonus?
What about the 54?

Some shadowing in that area. It's not a "crisp" FBL, but it's there for the designation.

Actually, the '52-D in 65FBL is more like a $200 coin. The 1954 in MS65FBL would be the less valuable of the two. Had they both graded 65FBL, I figure the '52-D would have brought in the $350 to $400 range and the '54 around $200 or so.

In general any frankie other than a CAM/DCAM proof is not a very attractive coin. However there are exceptions to the general rule and one exception is MS Franklins with toning such as those pictured by Russ.
