GPA dropping??? Mechanical???

in PSA Set Registry Forum
How can you upgrade three cards and update six others and have your GPA fall 2 points and lose ground in your set rating? I upgraded three of my 8's to 9's and my GPA went down from 9.20 to 9.18...what's the deal? Anyone know? I emailed PSA, but maybe someone on here would know if this is just a technical problem--does this happen sometimes with this thing? Thanks,

    Tech Glitch, Cosetta is aware of the problems.

    I'm having the same problem with my football HOF set.

    DGF...............Same thing happened to me tonite ! Added ( 4 ) Psa 8 cards to my set and the GPA dropped 2 points ! As Steve said , must be a tech glitch ............I also e-mailed my question to Psa about it !.............Robbie

    Funny, this happened to me tonight as well... I added 3 cards (PSA 9s and 10s) to my Nolan Ryan Master Set and the GPA dropped from 9.00 down to 8.93!!

    Same thing for me. I upgraded a card on my Carlton Master set and dropped in points...

    Maybe I should downgrade some cards in my Palmer set, then the rating will go up!!! image

    I had the same issue with my 68 Tiger set. Glad I'm not alone.
    Collecting all graded Alan Trammell graded cards as well as graded 1984 Topps, Donruss, and Fleer Detroit Tigers

    maybe when you replace one it removes it - hence lowering the GPA - until they confirm and add the NEW card. ??? just a thought

    That wouldn't work. I removed 8's with a GPA of 9.20 that would only RAISE my GPA.

    DGF, Evidently more = less. Funny, when I put in lower graded cards my GPA actually goes down. Not to fear, Cosetta will have the world back in order soon.

    My turn -- 57 Topps FB set, all PSA 8 NQ, added one more PSA 8 NQ today, now its 7.95... the new math [sigh]....

    no, what i was saying is it might register it as a HAVE card with a 0 rating, hence lowering the overall GPA.

    has anyone heard from PSA as to why?

    Everything should be back to normal now. Was simply a glitch and Cosetta fixed it promptly.

    Looking good now...

    I just re-validated the set and the rating was set properly...

    The universe is back in alignment...
    Always looking for 1967 OPC's.
