My 1968 Mint set
Got an upgrade to MS67 on my ken half today. Just need to fill out the Lincolns in MS67. I have littel hope to get the washingtons in 68 or the 68-S Jefferson in 66FS any time soon.

I see you made a lot of these yourself. Do you care to say how many mint sets were cherried to do it?

1100 Mint sets for the Ken Half and the 68-S Jeff, I also got a 64FS Jeff as well out of those 1100 sets. The top Lincolns, Rossies and Washintons from those sets are at PCGS right now. Ironically from the 1100 mint sets I have not had a single 68-S worthy of submitting for a shot at MS67RD. Seemingly the easy coin of the three Lincolns is proving ellusive to me.
little spots but the rest look awful. About one coin in five hundred will have a single
side that's still clean. The Philly quarter and the half are usually affected also. The
other coins are frequently found in original condition but of course this may mean banged-
up and poorly struck. It's still one of the nice sets for finding gems though.
The nickels are impossible in the set (or out probably), but the San Francisco cent hasn't
been especially tough for me. Many are spotted now but about .5% were very gem with
some being satiny and vaguely PL.
Mine only aspires to be so great some day.

P.S. Whenever you dont want the 68S MS65FS anymore, send me a pm.
