I know Red = Damaged but what is the difference between Gold and Green?

The greens can be told apart by the fonts used (K6AZ has a webpage with the comparison). The earliest labels were graded quite well, and will often match PCGS today, or even upgrade (of course, not every coin will). The newer green label holders had looser grading, and led into the gold labels, which are often grossly overgraded, with damaged coins listed as problem-free.

green = older
But don't quote me on that
PCI has three Green labels:
9 digit: Avoid like the plauge.....in my opinion of course
10 digit: usually within 1 grade of PCGS grading
14 digit: usually within a grade of PCGS at MS64 and below.
PCI Red: Cleaned or damaged coin
PCI Gold: Good luck on this one, Don't buy unless you have the coin in hand is my best advice.
Of course every situation can be different. Buy the coin, not the slab......
