IKE COLOR COINS...

Has anyone noticed that the prices for Ike color coins in business strike have more than tripled , and that the supply has all but dried up !!
MB Coin and PKOK Coins used to offer several every week. now they might have one per month !!

    As ther price of toned Morgan dollars goes into orbit, peace toned dollars are

    just not available outside of a laboratory, that leaves Toned Ikes. I believe more

    people are collecting the Ikes because the color is nice and the prices are reletively reasonable.

    I hope to see a change in circumstance at Long Beach as I have two Collectors/Dealers bringing me a few they've picked up at local shows back east and at FUN.

    I also have a few into NGC and ANACS right now (with a couple of the real wild ones into SEGS!).

    I was also fortunute to pick up a quality full set, off of eBay a couple of weeks ago, that had five that are stunning and worth grading.

    They can be found. It ain't easy, but they are there. I usually stay away from the "monsters" since most appeared played with whether they are slabbed or not. I'm always looking for that Dansco rainbow toning look. Once in a while I'll try to take a shot on one that might be questionable as long as it isn't blantant. I'm got a couple of NGC * on toned Ikes I picked up raw at a small local show.

    This one is pretty cool. Usually these are hazy -- well this one is hazy, but an auburn, electric blue and green hazy

    This I'm not sure about, but I rarely find silver uncs toned. It really has nice rainbow target toning.

    I made that ANACS stunner. It's even prettier than the photos allowed. You're going to like it!
