Question for item- Original 1956 Mint Set

So I'm selling a 1956 Mint set on ebay and even though part of my description says this:

In case you're wondering, the cards with holes are like that because they didn't issue those denominations at the respective mints that year.

I get this question from an ebay buyer:

is there a 1956 D franklin in this set thanks

I guess it's better that he asked first rather than raising a stink when he gets a 1956 Mint set that's missing the 56-D Half. image

Perhaps you should reply to the ebayer "Wow, you're right - there's no 56D half - must be one of the scarce forgetten half sets".....image

Those mint sets bring the strangest questions. Also many expect each set to contain coins that will get ultra grades at PCGS- believe me if I see a franklin half that will grade MS67 I ain't selling that set on ebay at below gray sheet levels! mike image

    True,

In fact most of the sets I have seen around here have marginal MS coins in them. Very pretty and wildly toned, but Ms grades are usually 65 and less.

I see an awful lot of "original" sets on eBay with heavily toned Lincolns and Jeffersons and blast white Washingtons and Franklins. I wonder why that is.
