Game really could've gone either way.
Eagle fans you guys had a great year and you moved one step further
The one thing i kept telling guys at work was that i thought Mcnabb would have to be a threat with his legs in this game and make big plays on the ground or at least keep drives alive. Donavan had 1 rush for 0 yrds.

Really ? What game were you watching.
The final score does not reflect the total domination.
The last 7 points by the Eagles were basically just garbage time points.
Sure made a lot of difference to the people who bet on the spread though ...
"How about a little fire Scarecrow ?"
McNabb had a sub-par game; don't know why. Pats pressured him early, but several of his throws were horrible ducks.
Garbage points to pull within 3 with a few minutes left? The Patriots three Super Bowls were won by three points. No Pats coach would tell you they were garbage points. Thsi isn't Mike Holmgren giving a team a TD in the Super Bowl so that he can get the ball back and gamble on driving to the winning score (his gamble backfired).
The Eagles lost two chances to score clutch points at the end of the first half and the last three minutes when they did not run the hurry up offense. Get the ball within 50 yards a let Akers try an FG. The clock is running down and good management will give the Pats no time to score if the kick is not good.
Sure McNabb made some mistakes, but passed for over 300 yards. Take TO deep earlier in the game and get a TD or FG. Don't waste time trying to run when it hasn't worked yet.
The coaching staff is to blame, even if the players did not execute as well as needed. Better coaching would have given the players more of an edge.
No domination here, especially when the win is by three points.
<< <i>A true wish of congratulations to the Patriots and their fans.

I agree 100%. I said so in this thread (about the 15th post)! No doubt, the eagles are a great team!
Check my ebay BIN or Make Offers!!
That's the illusion the Pats have on every team they beat, they all think "ah man, we almost had them"
But it's just that an illusion, somehow the Pats look confortable with a 3 point lead and they just don't lose in the playoffs - heck they have lost a total of 4 games out of 38!
Tough game and the hangover doesn't help. Hopefully, we'll be playing in the big game next year.
When is the NFL draft?

Hey jonesy, I didn't know you were a Pats fan!

What game were you watching? Did you bet the Patriots and lose?
and for keeping with the running game when it was evident it was non existant.
Mcnabb for the numerous balls thrown off target. The best team won though not by much.
BTW, loved your kickoff returner. He's a speedster!

Thank you.........and congrats to Philly on a great year.
