You guys are being pretty harsh. They had no running game and he threw for 357 yards. I thought Brady was better but McNabb was playing against a defense that had two weeks to prepare, blitzed from all over the place, and shut down the run completely. He did not make any throws off his back foot and the deep ball to Lewis against the blitz was a great throw in a clutch situation.

And philly's defense didn't have 2 weeks to prepare?

McNabb looked awful early...showed poor decision-making early, and at the end.

The Patriots showed they truly are a dynasty, which to me, is even more impressive than anything the 49ers, Cowboys, or Steelers did. They have done it in an era of forced parity.

    Congrats Patriot fans!

He may not be the best QB in the NFL, but I believe that there are between 20-25 teams that would gladly take him over their current starter if they had the opportunity. He had an excellent year and will get better than he is now. Solid player with a great attitude.

BTW, lets never give Rush any credit... He's nothing but an FN druggie loser.

It took Philly 4 shots to finally get to the big game and it took a weak NFC to get them there. Next year won't be a cakewalk for the
Eagles but Im sure the schedule makers will make it easy for them again. hey I thought that the teams with losing records played
easy schedules the next year. Bucs in 05 play almost all the playoff teams including the Patsies! Im sure the Ealgles play the Browns
    a few times!

Can we finally say that McNad is NOT a winner??

And what part about Rush being a drugged up hypocrite (putting clinton on a cross about the 'i did not inhale' but he himself a huge drug user) was wrong?

Oh lord now McNabb was sick in the fourth quarter.

He looked pretty sick throwing those picks on back to back plays in the first quarter.

This reeks of big ben's mythical 'broken toes'.

Eagles play the AFC West, NFC West, Packers, Falcons, and of course their own division in '05.

GoBraves Go - what is your opinion of Michael Vick?

I'll chime in. Vick is the best overall QB in the league, with Manning the best passing QB. Defense got both the Eagles and the Pat's to the Superbowl, not their QB.

It's pretty amazing that it was still one of the best Superbowls in recent memory to watch. The Eagles only lost by 3 - beat the spread. This despite poor clock management, questionable play calling from the coaching staff, high number of turnovers by the team, etc....

Donavan was nervous in the pocket, and did not throw many tight spirals. But, he hung in and kept the team in the game despite his subpar game. He kept it positive. Maybe next year. The Eagles have nothing to be ashamed of. Regards.

Vick is the best QB in the NFL? Uhm, what Vick are you referring to? It can't possibly be Atlanta's Vick.

He wasn't even top 20 in passer rating (#21)...completed just over 50% of his passes (56%)....14 tds and TWELVE interceptions....only 2313 passing yards....and sacked 46!!! times (that's partly O-line, partly his inability to read the pocket collapsing).

The vick backers will come out and say it's the first year in a west coast offense...but the fact of the matter is he's a tremendous athlete, and the falcons are blowing it by trying to make him be their QB. They should just convert him to a RB already, and let Schaub (a real west-coast QB) run that offense.
