woopy freakin dooo...here is another ring tom freaking brady.....what you going to do next...go to freaking disney world??? woopie freaking doo daaa...........I HATE TOM BRADY AND AND HIS NEON DEION BRANCH!!!!
Saying they laid down is an understatement. They had a legitmite shot at winning that game, but the dumb play calling and the lack of enthuisium of the players just killed any chance.
I was really disappointed to see the sportsmanship ( or should I say lack thereof) from the Pariots. Mimicing the Eagle dance of Terrell Owens, talking countless smack on the field. I used to like the Patriots. Liked the unselfish style, no real team studs, good coaching etc.
Do the Chahhhdaaah heads now think they rule the world since their beloved BOSOX won the series? I have loved Boston since the days of Yaz, but I can't say I support the Pats any longer.
I will go back to just rooting for my lowly Cornhuskers........

I am really depressed. I was absolutely crushed by the 27-10 loss in 1981, and I'm not very much better right now. But I must say that I almost wish the Iggles had lost by 30, not just 3. To have Westbrook be such a non-factor, to have the Pats move the ball so easily between the 20s, and to have Owens be at 50% or whatever, made it seem impossible, but there they were. So many things you can point to and say,"If they had only done this, if they had only made that stop, if they had just been a little smarter or quicker or..." I mean, what was up with not having a receiver for the last punt? I know they wanted to avoid a fumble or whatever, but not having someone to even fair catch cost them 15 yards and several seconds that they could have used trying to get lined up for a FG. Clock management, questionable play-calling, and, got to give them credit, a very tough opponent, makes a close loss that much more painful.

Face it, the Eagles have NO CLUE on how to win a big game. They proved it tonight and they've proved it the last three years. IMO I'm GLAD the Patriots won! Big Mouth TO, Big Mouth(NON FACTOR) Mitchell, etc. All the Patriots do is go out and play hard football. You only need to win by one. Tom Brady is nothing short of awesome. The team just don't make mistakes. YAK YAK YAK that's all I'm hearing. They got beat! and the looked stupid doing it!
whatever cspeier.... they mocked the eagles all game...big mough huh.....maybe for TO....but he the pats didnt even have to open there to look like complete A$$'s out there.....way to go new england.....i now route against both the pats and bosox..who i rooted for last year....FOREVER
your in denial.. sorry your team SUCKS!! Your right they looked very stupid by winning back to back. Besides it's not how you played the game, it's if you win or lose. And you being a Eagle fan know all about that!
<< <i>let me rephrase that...the pats didnt even need to open there mouth to look like butts out there...better... >>
Kinda like what you are doing in this thread?
I dont mean to sound harsh, I know what its like to be a fan and have your heart broken because your team doesnt "pull-it-off" You dont even know these people, instead of "hating" the Patriots and Tom Brady (BTW they have no clue that you even exhist) why dont you worry about other problems that are in the world and maybe in your own life?
To continue to bash the Patriots makes your Philly fans look like a bunch of sore losers (which they are not), think of this as yet another stepping stone? Maybe after two more years of losing the Super Bowl the Eagles may actually pull it off and win it in 2008?
<< <i> was really disappointed to see the sportsmanship ( or should I say lack thereof) from the Patriots. Mimicing the Eagle dance of Terrell Owens >>
I can't really blame them. Owens started it by giving them business in the first quarter. He brings it on himself, and on Eagle fans and his teamates. I don't mind most the time he is passionate, but karma will play a factor if you can't follow though, and the Pats took advantage.
Good game, I liked Sir Paul at half too actually playing some music for a change, although I'm sure the kids missed the hip hoppers.
New England looked far from dominant, but in the end two costly interceptions and horrible clock management (4th qtr) cost the Eagles, at worst, a shot at the game. They controlled the first half, but did not take advantage. Check the last time New England didn't score first. It's some gaudy stat; something like 27 out of 28 New England has.
- The Eagles Def came to play - "The People's Champ" didn't - TO is a man!! Call him flamboyant, but he got it done on the field tonight. - Hate Brady all you want, he is practically a lock for the HOF right now. He wins, nuff said. - You can't throw over the middle on the Pats consistently and win. Check out the TD drive when McNabb was 7 of 8, they went outside. - Cris Collinsworth might be the worst announcer ever. How is he on two networks? - The commerical with the troops was hands down the best. - I think Andy Reid tightened up when it counted the most.
well excuse me for hating the patriots yum yum.....you dont even know me either.....I have "hated" the pats since when they played the bears in 85 and then when favre beat them a few years later...ive hated tom brady since his days at meechigan....hate in a sports sense.....SPORTS SENSE....not like I sit around with a voodoo doll all day wishing bad things to any of there families...get a grip man.....
loth
- I hate the patriots - I hate loserchik after he flopped with my 2nd favorite team the local browns..... - I hate Brady cause he is from meechigan and he beats my 2 fav players Manning and McNabb.... - Im just having fun...and 79 collector needs some Ativan - 79 collector prolly voted for John Kerry hehehehe
The Red Sox and the Patriots together? Is this the herald of the Apocalypse? Is this the dreaded Seventh Sign? If the Celtics win next, we can all kiss our asses goodbye, because the Beast will be loose among us. I'm settling my affairs now, just in case.
Owens started that mess I would have been doing more to mock them, but then that would have been considered excessive. Its alright for TO or Mitchell to go out and mock their opponets, but its not alright for others to do it to them..

I agree and add poor clock management at the end of the first half. You don't play for a tie in the Super Bowl. Drive 30 yards with 2 minutes left, give your kicker a chance for an FG, and hit halftime with a 3 point lead. The coaches are to blame for not firing up the players and running the no huddle. TO may talk but he backs it up. 120 yards. Didn't Branch get only a few more? Congrats to the Pats.

LOL, lucky for us that hockey is done for the year or we would all have to cheer against the Bruins for our own personal safety
The game was very close and competitive. Both defenses played quite well and there were a few nice plays on offense from both sides. The officiating was subpar in my opinion and it did take something from the game, but it seemed to go against both teams and really benefitted neither team in the end IMO. Brady played pretty well and the Pats running game was solid, but underused. The Pats receivers made some big plays and Branch did deserve the MVP IMO. Owens did what he could to help his team. I'm not a fan of his persay, but I do admire a guy with his desire to win. McNabb put up decent numbers, but also made some big mistakes which cost them some points. The Eagles could not run the ball at all against the Patriots defense, which is one reason McNabb struggled a bit.
In the end, it was a good game which is all I wanted being a fan of neither team. I was rooting for the Pats mainly because unlike some, I am a huge UofM fan and am happy to see Brady having some success since the poor Lions are not. The Patriots have something great happening over there, but so do the Eagles. They may be disappointed now, but imagine if you lived in Michigan as I do and had to resort to following the Lions. I'd sell my soul for a Super Bowl loss
The Eagles were a worthy opponent. Mcnabb and Reid lost that game for Philly. Dis Brady all you want, but 9-0 in the playoffs is amazing! TO impressed me, would love to have him on our team!. BTW, has Reid ever heard of a no huddle offense?????

I'd think you'd be used to the iggles losing year after year, and ripping your heart out.
It's ok for TO to mock the game, to do his ridiculous dances, but for the Pats to call him out on it, they are the ones who are out of line?
typical my ass axtell...kiss it smuck-boy...and by the way...in case you were wondering....i still hate the patriots....and THERE super bowl trophy's....

wah wah typical iggles fan, blaming everyone else for their team CHOKING.
Huh? Where on this or in ANY other thread did you read an Eagles fan blaming anyone for a loss? First off, rarely do they lose and second your statement never happened. I would love to see it.
Eagles fans do not pass blame on anyone but the Eagles.
<< <i>It's ok for TO to mock the game, to do his ridiculous dances, but for the Pats to call him out on it, they are the ones who are out of line? >>
Exactly! The Pats were just giving Owens a bit of his own medicine - believe me, if he caught a few TD's yesterday, he would have danced more and more with each one. The Pats played a better, smarter game - and the Eagles played well enough to win were it not for their mistakes and odd play calling in the 4th quarter. Give the Pats, Belichick, and Brady their credit, and call it a day.
