I'm starting to wonder if I'm going to get them at all? 
This happening to anyone else?
Edit: Update: 2/9/05 If anyone is interested. Just checked the status of my order on the above and got this..."Item no longer available". I am really PO'd now.
Don't they know how many they have sold when they take an order? QVC does it, the US Mint can't? When i placed my order I was guaranteed I would get it. It wasn't sold out when i placed my order, so how can it be sold out before they mail it to me?
I can tell the government runs the Mint. I also have an 11 year old (notlogical) who will be disappointed he's not getting one. He was really into L&C last summer and thought this set was neat (and in the right price range too for Mom and Dad.)
Oh well, it all balances out down the road I guess. It still bugs the heck out of me though.

I;ve spoken to her before. I got the same kind of information last year waiting on some coin set, people on the forum had been receiving them for weeks. I called and the lady said, "Oh no, no one is receiving them yet! blah blah blah" They don't know, they are just parrots
Here's some more salt. I placed two orders at different times, both contained 2 sets and both orders are sitting in my closet in the original unopened shipping boxes. Have no idea why I ordered them. Oh, by the way, I live in Alaska and they take forever to get here using the Mint's standard shipping service, which I did.
You're mistaken. The US mint does not have "customer service". It's a myth.
