Hall-Of-Fame bias towards Cowboys continues

Text

For the people who don't feel like reading the article here are a couple tidbits that made me shake my head

Only two of the 17 Hall of Fame wide receivers have more catches than Irvin. Only three have more receiving yards. Only two have more Super Bowl rings, and you don't need me to tell you which two those are.

Of the 193 players in the Hall of Fame, only five are Cowboys.

  • The title of the post is my point image
  • Don't know how much you know about football but Bob Hayes and Rayfield Wright were 2 of the best players during their time at their respective positions. Both snubbed again last year.

Actually Kobe, I totally agree with youimage I was just tryin' to be a smartazzimage

I can't believe Michael Irvin was snubbed today. I also can't believe Hayes and Wright weren't elected long ago. The Cowboys have always been my second-favorite team (after the Chargers). I grew up in the '70s watching the 'Boys every chance I got.

Irvin would have made it had it not been for the run-ins ... he may still make it.

You mean Steve Carlton? 1st ballot HOFer with 95.82%- a slam dunk.
If there is a Lefty Carlton in the NFL I apologize and plead ignorance.

Irvin should be in the hall of fame, should have been given the honor of a first ballot induction, too.

I get sick to death of these hall of fame voters thinking they are the moral police, and that they need to regulate who goes in and who doesn't because soandso did a bad thing once.

And the continued snubbing of Art Monk and Derrick Thomas is sickening.
