I agree with Kuhli on this one. If you are collecting 20th century, then you need "Collectors' Coins Great Britain 2005." The prices are realistic, the book is (almost) pocket size and the book price is reasonable (although shipping is a bit much). Spink and Krause give you too much extra information that you don't need.
I've put some description against the books we have so you can gather an idea of what each one contains. (The only one I don't have stock of is Krause).
Personally I would recommend the CoinCraft book as it has good commentary and collecting tips rather than just being a price guide (however, please note that it is out-of-print) so you may have difficulty getting hold of a new one.
Although if you are after a price guide then Chris's CCGB2005 is pocket-size and gives current prices. However, Spink appears to be the one most widely used by dealers and collectors for prices.
Received the Spinks catalog today. I'd say it's equal to the Red Book for US coins. Super book thanks!

I'm afraid to be alive without being aware of it
If it's just 20th century, I'd go with Krause, I guess.

Do you know how much it would cost to ship the Spinks book to the US?

Hi Lou - we have sent a few of these Spink 2005 Guides to our US-based customers.
Due to the weight of the book, standard Airmail (uninsured) shipping would be £10, making the total due £30.
Let me know if you are interested (we've only got a few left!)
Thanks
Andy
