How can you Modern Lincoln collectors put up with this?

How can Modern Lincoln Cent collectors put up with a Varieties set that is incomplete? There are 7 1982-P/D Lg/Sm Copper/Zinc Varieties that have been totally ignored up to this point. PCGS states that they try to have all of the "Major" Varieties that are found in the Redbook. Then why are these totally over-looked? Are these not major?

Now I own a total of ZERO Lincolns, but If I was a Lincoln collector, I would be a little upset.

Later, Paul.

Later, Paul.

They haven't added a coin to ANY of the variety sets in FOREVER except for the 09-VDB DDO to the early set & nada for the memorial set. Heck, what's the holdup? '98, '99, '00 Wide AM & the 7 82 varieties AT THE LEAST. Then consider the 1980 DDO, the 1995-D DDO, 1997 DDO, 1983 DDO, 1982 DDO, 1980-D/S, etc... image

For now I don't care because my set is still raw and I consider all 7 1982's as part of my basic set (come on now, should they include only 1 1864 in the IHC set, for that was a metal change too?). When I do finally decide to get my coins graded I hope they put the 7 vars in, and also give the set a proper weighting (there is no weighting I believe).

Anyway...shhh on this subject... wait until we get all 7 vars in top grade before we talk about it... image
